Why does it always seem to happen to me!?!?!? Spent the day, fitting new rubber to the car, getting it ready for winter etc and at 5pm go to start the thing and its flat! F**king brilliant!

Here's the next 5 mins events:

1) Shout, swear, stomp around garage looking for jump leads
2) Find jump leads which look like a dislocated slinky tangled like you can't believe
3) Reverse car number 2 upto side of Caterham (to jump start said caterham)
4) Turn car two off
5) Connect jump leads (making 100% sure that they're on correct terminals)
6) Start car 2
7) Shoe horn into the Caterham, put black Shurlock Immobiliser fob into slot....nothing, light keeps flashing and no beep!?!?!?
8) Try again.... black fob in.....nothing, just flashing LED and no beep?!?!
9) Out of caterham, more shouting, swearing, stomping around the garage
10) Find shurlock hand book which in this situation seems to be as useful as a chocolate tea pot, nothing on troubleshooting.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!! Now have very expensive garden ornament which does not want to play!!!

Has anyone else had this, what can I do to start it!?!?

FYI - Its a Shurlock EP100 and I have both the red and the black fobs!

Many thanks in advance!

Paul

O/T - but I thought you'd sold it/put it up for sale?

Was going to sell it due to a barrage of ear bashings from the missus about getting a house, then realised I am over 21 and can make my own decisions....so, put her off buying a house for another year in favour of keeping the car! thumbup

Just wish I could use the fooking thing!!!!

Try using the red one. My black one doesn't work, I then tried to reprogramme the black one by following the guide.

After many tries I gave up.

Even when taken to Caterham Midlands recently they could not get it to work.

Best of Luck!
