Is Ross thinking of selling? I didn't see him at Dunsfold this September.
Last time I saw it, it was looking good and as you know, I fit in the (short) passenger side, and I'm 14 stone.
I have a (grown-up) family and have no problem in finding time for a drive, often early on a Sunday while it's quiet. Go one - you know it makes sense

Simularly, I built a long cockpit dedion 1700 supersprint in 1988. It was sold to fund a house move and exported to Japan. Doubt if that one will be seen in the UK again. Since, rebuilt TVR 3000M and then had it written off when it was rear ended but replaced with TVR Taimar Turbo SE which I will never part with.
Since selling the supersprint have hankered after another 7. I am sure when I get one it will be as good as the memories. Just having a little trouble at moment as there does not appear to be much on the market. I am being very specific, as I want either a genuine lotus twin cam or genuine cosworth HPC. I am sure there are quicker and some would argue better models available but I guess for me it is about aquiring the car I always wanted.
If anyone can help, and knows of a suitable car please let me know.

Graham I get what you want, I looked for a while for mine as well, I always wanted a 1700 supersprint, it had to be green/yellow, have prisoner wheels and be de-dion rear, I got one and it was well worth the wait
A guy at Oulton Park asked why I didn't get a later one and do away with all the oil and petrol smells and hassle with the carbs etc, sorry but to me that is half the experience!
Good luck with your search mate and don't change your mind, even the 'slow' ones are brilliant!

1) Will I still fit it
2) will the reality be as good as the memory
3) what the the hell will I do with it now I have a family....
1) You can fit in an S3 deDion chassis of 95 vintage or newer if you are 6'4" and 18+st or less. Leg to body length ratio dependant. Might just need some fettling.2) will the reality be as good as the memory

2) Yes.
3) Drive it. Leave your family watching telly, or better still get one of them in the passenger seat
