1.6 K series rev limit

Picked up my first Caterham today from Woodcote sports cars.What a buzz!Can anyone advise me on a safe limit to rev it to.Thanks.

If its a standard 1.6k it will have a rev limiter on the ECU it will be set at about 6800-7000 not much point going above 6500 though

For road use? For racing you want to strangle the engine as much as you dare, max power is at 6600. Take a look at this data page from Minister's site:
