Ahhh, fond memories. It was built for me by caterham in 2003 for racing - although it was road legal. In 2004 the engine was upgraded to R500 Evo spec (250bhp). Very very quick.
Sold it in early 2005 to fund a CSR260 for Eurocup/Masters racing. The buyer tidied it up and put it back to road spec for road/trackday use. Rather lost touch since then. Unique car.

It was being towed by an ageing gent driving an ageing Merc estate
Maybe it was on its way back from the spray shop as the paintwork looked 'as new'?
Id love to have a go in one of them, shame I dont fit.
My uncle is a Caterham nut/club member with a nutter tuned engine. Always fancied a go in his but he only just fits and Im twice his size! Even with a removeable steering wheel I cant get in.

I think Jackal has an aversion to highly tuned K series engines. IIRC he is more of a fan of Duratecs. Personally I've managed to blow up both but obviously that's just down to natural talent.
Anyway, cue long discussion (religious war) about chocolate head gaskets, boat anchors, etc.
