So where can I get 1/3rd of a Caterham then?
Discussion
Wonder if you chaps can help with this?
Thinking (again) about making myself a proper race seat for driving games, and thinking (again) that the way to do it would be to use a damaged Caterham chassis as the base,
So, where can I get one? I'm thinking I need the OSR quarter, from footwell backwards and gearstick sidewards, with the equivalent parts of the rear bodywork, if you get my drift. Needs to have pedals and top part of steering column, but not much else. Want something tidy, so maybe part of crashed racer rather than abandoned project that's gone all rusty and nasty?
Anyone got any leads, ideas? Anyone had a little accident recently?
Thanks in advance for any info,
AdrianR

Try Arch motors http://www.archmotor.co.uk/, they build the chassis in the first place (or did until recently) and do all the repairs. They have a big pile of half (!) chassis out the back.
Might be better off looking for an undesirable old FF chassis though, maybe something slightly damaged and from an undesirable constructor, would probably have more of the right shape.
