I got a quote of £244 from Footman James for me and my Pops 37 and 75 on a 4,500 limited mile comp policy. Trouble is they wouldn't do Lou (23).

Any insurers who'll take a 23yr old with no claims or points?

Have you tried MSM Insurance?

Don't know specifically whether they insure young drivers, but they seem to have a good reputation in Caterham circles ... smile

Edited to add:
MSM web site said:
The MSM kit car build-up and kit on-the-road insurance schemes .... In most cases cover is available to drivers age 18 to 74, up to a maximum of 4 drivers per policy ...
So maybe the problem becomes your father ... rolleyes

I insured with Adrian Flux when I got my Caterham at age 23. Have been with MSM since then and now with Competition Car Insurance.

Me with only one 3 pointer, the two of them clean. 5000 mile limit, garaged, imobilised, fully comp:

Adrian Flux £496.41
MSM £550ish.....I lost interest when I heard the '5'.

Unfortunately no Track Day cover frown

Thanks for your help.
