Took my wife out in the Caterham Academy a few weeks ago when I got it back from the SVA and got it sideways big time on a country road.
Best thing is that she wont pester me again for a ride, ALL MINE!! WITHOUT SOMEONE SITTING THERE SAYING SLOW DOWN, ARN'T YOU GOING A BIT QUICK ETC, ETC

Took my 5 year old out in the R500 yesterday evening..............and he fell asleep!!!!! Incredible!!
Related topic - I used to have a TVR Chimaera 500, and my 5 year old used to fall asleep too! Anyway - my question - how do you transport him/her in the Caterham? In a booster seat? Regular car seat? Do they work with 4-point harnesses?
Cheers

I managed to nod off in my mate's GT3 going round Spa....
I can understand that on the Kemel straight (Certainly in a 1.6k caterham, even the racing was a good time to stretch the arms, enjoy the scenery etc.). But not the rest of circuit, Stavelot, Blauchamont (spelling?), over the kerbs into the busstop... I can see anyone nodding off around there!

I have a 4 year old and she is itching to go for a ride in daddy's racing car so I echo the above question - how do you do this legally?

Just used the standard harness's. Granted the shoulder belts are a little on the high side but managed to make it work OK, not ideal though.
That said, I for one am not convinced by booster seats. Unless they can be attached with isofix I can't see the point. In fact the chances of submarining must be far greater....they move around far too much!!
