Slight oil leak..

Folks,
I have a section of braided hose running from the top of the apollo tank to the forward edge of the cam-cover. I seem to have developed a leak there so I have of course tweaked the braided-hose nut up a tad to see if that solves it.
What does that one do and is it under pressure?..ie is it something critical or just a "catch tank feed"?
