I'm just shocked that such great cars can get into the hands of these people who just don't seem to have a grasp of how to use them properly!! Am I right or should I just shut up!?

I cant see the other clip (work banned), is a spin due to a poor downshift in a caterham?
Just some guy showing off how fast his car can accelerate <edit> mail me re picking up wheels BTW, may not be able to deliver to Pembrey as the van is very full of other peoples Caterham bits !

Nice Spa clip - looking forward to 65 of us going through Eau rouge on lap 1
Probably a pointless idea but if you can get Hugh's wheels to near Portsmouth/Southampton before I leave on the Thursday before Pembrey I'll take them the rest of the way.
I still don't get the point of this thread though

Hi mafioso,
It's my car. This little video was taken by october of 2006 when I bought the car. At this time, it had a problem in gear box. The 1-2 and 3-4 synchos was broken and the 5th gear of the Quaife straight cut gearbox of my JPE was very used. Is it why the downsift from 5 to 4 needed to be done very slow and with an excessive use of the clutch (please excuse my poor french, I'm a frenchie). Now, I had this gearbox repared and it's correct now.
Just have a look at this new video (76 Mo, 22 min) :
http://caterham.jpe.free.fr/20070324l (it's better to save it on your HD before to view it)
And please, keep cool because during this video, the gear-box was in grinding.
If you want to learn more about this car, you can bring a good beer and then have a look at http://caterham.jpe.free.fr
Hope you are now in peace, mafioso.

Cuzza - thanks for the offer. I think Ben and I have worked something out! I've been promising to come and see his business for ages, now I have the reason!
See you all at Pembrey.
See you all at Pembrey.
No probs - see you at Pembrey.
Tip for finding Bens place, when you think you've definitely gone wrong and are about to bump into a grumpy game keeper complete with shotgun, keep going
PS - Ben, you're in circuit driver this month.......
Looks a pretty nice circuit
