I have just changed my 1400K for a 1400K Supersport engine and right at the end have hit a bit of a problem. There are 2 electrical connector's on the loom which attach to the throttlebody, which do not have enough length of wiring to connect to the new Supersport throttlebody which is toward the front of the engine bay, rather than the rear in the original configuration.

Does anyone know if there are any wiring extension kits available to overcome this, or does anyone have any other suggestions? I would, if possible, try to avoid cutting the existing wires to patch in an extension.

Many thanks in advance as always

It's a bit of a specialist requirement to have extension wires ready made for this situation. Depending on the connectors, you could make extensions yourself by buying the necessary bits from Vehicle Wiring Products or Pole Volt. Personally, I'd go for for the cut & shut method. Done properly, crimped & soldered I reckon it would more reliable than introducing another connector joint.
