Hi all,
I'm looking at using some kind of coating/under body seal with my caterham to protect the aluminium from the salt we have on our roads at this time of the year - as I understand salt can slowly corrode the chassis - does anyone have any experience with buying and applying these products?
Many thanks in advance!

I used Dinitrol when I rebuilt my car but others use Waxoyl. Thinning it a little can make it easier to spray. The places to spray are where the aluminium panels meet the steel chassis - it is at this interface that you will get eletrolytic corrosion which is made worse by salt. Pay particular attention to the "grot traps" between the footwells and the outer skins - a lot of rubbish gets trapped there and retains moisture - brush them out before spraying your choice of corrision inhibitor in there.
