Caterham 7 Super Sprint

Afternoon All,

I have not long bought a 1990 Caterham 7 Super Sprint (Ford 1600 xflow) and I am looking for good garage to set up the carbs. I live just outside of Bristol in a town called Yate. So if anyone knows of a carb specialist in this area I would appreciate any information.

Not being funny, but do it yourself. Its really not hard. I have a synchrometer for balancing carbs, and live in Salisbury. If you want to borrow the tool or pop over, I can help you out.

What problem do you have with them?

I'm sure Millwood in Cam (Glos) would do it for you although probably not cheap. Alternatively go along to the Bristol and Bath 7 Club meeting - time and place should be here somewhere www.lotussevenclub.com

Many Thanks, that is very kind. I had the car serviced by the a mobile mechanic who also services my wife's car. He balanced them, but he said it would be best to have them checked out as one jet appeared to be feeding in too much petrol. It is running a lot better but I thought it would be worth getting it checked.
