I know that the A series is bigger than the more usual Caterham transport, the Minno; but I'd like to be sure, does anyone know if a 7 will fit on an A series trailer ok?

I'm looking to buy a racing 7 and don't want to find out when I pick the car up that I can't get it home!

thanks.

If the A series trailer is bigger than the minno, and a non SV Caterham will fit on a minno, then am I missing something or did you answer your own question?

I wondered if the track was ok or ground clearance etc. Just to be sure!

If the Caterham has a very low ride height, it might catch over the trailer lip - on either an A-series or a Minno. You can get longer ramps, or simply crank trailer jockey up to get it on.

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. If anyone's reading this thread in the future and looking for ideas, my racing Metro wouldn't go onto our trailer initially, but we made some pieces of wood about 18 inches long to lengthen the ramps slightly, and that did the trick.

BJ let me trade my short ramps in for longer ones at cost, so do it sooner before marking them rather than later!

Brian James If you want new, get yourself to the Autosport show and neg a good discount, or ring BJ themselves and you can usually get extras added.

Used, check out Pistonheads classified, or sometimes Blatchat, sales or the accademy/grads website.
