Best QR?

Anyone have any strong opinions on the best Quick Release system to use? I want a smaller D shaped wheel as I'm having problems with knee clearance.

I've got a Racetech q/r and wheel in my Westie, which I like alot, I think it is similar to the Spa one. You do need to weld it to your steering column though.

What wheel did you go for?

I quite fancied the leather 240mm D shaped one (need the clearance for my fat thighs!). The only thing that put me off the SPA Design wheel (Alpha?) though was that the picture made the stiching and joins look quite shoddy - is this the case in reality?

Also, does anyone know what size/type of QR a 7 should require? I'm getting confused by all the fractions/spigot lengths etc. (Not got a clue basically!).

I got a 265mm round wheel in suede, from here. Very happy with the quality of the wheel and boss, although leather will stay looking nicer for longer than suede, mine is going a bit shiny in places. Can't remember how I worked out what size q/r I needed, I think someone else told me. I've got a 3/16 hole 3/4 slug.
