Getting hold of a pair of Yoko A021R's has been a slog if you dont know where you are going. I had a lovely conversation with Camskill after me asking for them...

me: I need a price on 2 X Yokohama A-021Rs in 205/60 R13 rated 87H

Them: Yokos are not made in that size. The only people who make that size are in the link. That size of tyre is getting hard to come by

me: are you sure?

Them: I am. i have spoken to various suppliers and this tyre is no longer imported into the UK as the demand is so small,Yoko only make this in a motorsport size. The last ones of these were sold about 3-4 months ago and was the last of the stock in Britain,You may be lucky and get a tyre company that has some on the shelf,But i would be doutful.

So I call www.polleymotorsport.co.uk/ and they are on there way here in time for the weekend. Cost vary massively too; I had a quote of over £100 from Just Tyres - Polley was close to 60!!

So there you have it. "Buy what we have" not "buy what you want/need" is my impression from the tyre industry over the last day or so.

I belive what is going on is there is yokohama road tyres and yokohama motorsport tyres. These are completely separate entities.

So when you talk to a road tyre guy about a motorsport tyre they get very very confused and do what most retailers do when they are confussed

I too have had good service and price from Polley. My only slight concern is that twice I have called to ask for tyres only to be told they are still 3 weeks away from a delivery. They come in fast and go fast.
