It will most likely be an Ital axle, but Caterham mod them to suit the 7. Have you tried Red Line & James Whiting?

The solid rear acxles used by Caterham from about 1995 to 1999 was the Marina/Ital axle. IMy 7's axle has developed a bit of a whine so I expect that it will need changing eventually. I sopke to Mick and John at Redline about this back in March and they did say that Marina/Ital axles are beginning to be difficult to get hold of.

Before 1985, 7s had Ford Escort Mk1 or 2 rear axles. These are a viable alternative but since the Mk 2 Escort ceased production in 1981, they are becomming rare too.

The Marina axle on the later cars is not a straight swap - it needs to be modified by Caterham to add the A frame fixings / and a large strengthening brace across the back of the diff.
