As a complete novice to the Caterham/Westfield world I know enough to know that either would give me a fast, fun car for the Summer, at reasonable value.

My use would be entirely on the road with a lot of B roads, so ride quality is reasonably important. I'm over 6' tall with very long legs and big feet so cabin width and legroom is important. I would prefer lower end power delivery and not an engine that demands very high revs to get the best out of it.

Is this all poaaible in your world, or am I in cloud cuckoo land?

I dont think a 1.6 Supersport would be much good to you as you have to wring it to get the most out of it (lots of revs)..would imagine a CSR is more torqey than most but they are big £££££....what about an 8 cylinder V8 Westie?

A 2.0 VX would fit the bill perfectly - bags of torque and good VFM at the moment too. Drive one and see what I mean
