Hi all , first post here , probably not my last as recently test drove a 1.4 supersport (6 speed) and was smitten. I'll own one one way or another in the next couple of weeks

I have been recommended to try : Caterham Insurance , MSM Insurance and Adrian Flux.

Can anyone usefully add to the list.

How does it work with a classic type insurance , do you mirror no claims or ignore it , or does it vary from place to place ?

Presumably you set your own mileage limit and pay accordingly ?

Cheers

With Classic insurance you do not build a no claims discount. Usually the insurance is very low and its limited to mileage 1500, 3000, 6000 per annum, the higher the mileage limit the higher the price. Garaging is also a big factor in keeping the insurance down. I insured my R400 with Adrian Flux and got a very reasonable rate with track day insurance (for approved track days) included.
