My oil pressure is showing between 0psi (engine off) and 3psi (cold start ) on my digital dash. Me thinks I need a new pressure sender unit! (I've had a mechanical guage connected which shows around 65 psi, so all is well with the engine.)

Need a cheap source for a new sender. Cheapest source? ThinkAuto? Also, who's ditched the electrical setup and gone to mechanical?

I think they're only a few quid from caterham, nothing to worry about.

Which digital dash? If it's a Stack unit then Caterham, Stack or Demon Tweeks are all going to be pretty close on price. The standard Caterham sender is not suitable.

Astratech. It needs an inline resistor to drop the current being fed as a signal. Apparantly they rarely fail, but I've ordered another one just in case.

PS from some of the recent posts on BlatChat, Caterham Parts dept seem to have an *optimistic* pricing policy. example: £300 starter, identical part sourced elsewhere, approx £67. A bit naughty if you ask me. I saved about £100 buying my DS scavenge pump direct.
