Best Harness??

I'd be carefull as in a Caterham the shoulder straps have to be very short due to the top mountings being high up & very close to the seats rather than on the floor some way behind the seats as they are in most saloon car applications.
The Caterham branded ones are 3" wide are made by Luke, personaly I'd go with those or if you can't use 3" get them direct from Luke in 2", both with aircraft release.

Yes they sell a shorter version specifically for Cats and a slightly different version for Westfields. Willans adjust more easily with Tillet seats in my experience. They do a bulk buy offer and Caterham members take advantage of this every year. This results in up to 15% saving on list. If you are a Lotus Seven club member check the deals available from Demon Tweeks , ask for Dave Kimberley and get discount brochure price of up to 10% on certain items.

I did a bulk buy with Willans and can confirm it's easy to order the correct configuration for a Caterham. I used Luke harnesses when I first built my 7, but had a Willans in my Pug 205. Willans harnesses are IMO just a bit nicer and easier to use, so that's what I'm putting in my 7 when it's rebuilt.
AAMOI I notice Caterham themselves now supply handed harnesses - when I built mine in 2001, they didn't, which was a major incentive to source direct from Luke. By handed I mean having the buckle fall to the centre of the car for both occupants.
