Anyone got any good advice on Spa?

(Other than to not blow your engine up on the way to Spa, via Schwedencreuz at the 'Ring?!)

Will be trailering the car, so can take spare wheels. Is it worth going to slicks, or will ACB10s suffice?

Next q: where can I obtain some suitable compound slicks from (any opinions on new or used)?

Spa is great.....but it does rain a lot. If it does stay off the kerbs as they get VERY slippy. I would have thought ACB's were fine and if anything I'd take some CR500's rather than slicks ( for the wet)

Ferg, get it flat floored before you go, makes a huge difference even if you only weigh 10 stone

Ben, mate, unfortunately I'm about 19st, so the floor will certainly be flat after I've been on it! any suggestions for a suitable FF setup venue?

Will be about £100 max, depending on how far out it is

Fergus, I'd recommend Hyperion at Great Maplestead - I'm guessing that based on where you stored your RS, this is a realistic place for you to get to (between Halstead and Sudbury). They've corner weighted and flat floored every 7 I've owned - in fact it's the first thing I always have done when I buy a car. Ask for David or Dickie - 01787 478800
