Doesnt really sound right that i had a 12000 mile service done with millwood on previous car, that was 5 hours labour, i dropped it off in the morning they gave me a nice Colt to run round in for the day, and i picked mine up in the afternoon. Can strongly recommend millwood and john. I have had two caterhams off them now and the service is great. He's always got a brew on the go aswell which helps

You could always try James Whiting who is a little closer to you.

I don't know how long they take for the service, but it might be a little more convenient than having to get to Dartford & back.

Did you get this year's Christmas card?

Always had good service from Millwood but not much use for the original poster as he's in Surrey.

yep got the card, wasnt really saying he should go to millwoods just trying justify why i thought the time period caterham were suggesting was a little extreme. And anyway i travel over 2 hours to get to millwoods.

I live in West London. It takes about the same time to get to Millwood as it does to Dartford...

So you can drive their courtesy car I used to arrange services to take as long as possible. A drop off on Friday afternoon is the best plan

Courtesy car? Caterham? Surely some mistake...

During my Caterham ownership I had two different R300s (they were actually supersport Rs with the 'R' bits on them). Absolutely fantastic when compared to my 1999 VVC.

Caterham did themselves a good service there, because as soon as I have the spare cash for a nice road car and a Caterham I'm buying an R400!!

I can' understand why other car manufacturers don't give you a high spec car. Two days with something nice and you start wanting it yourself!

Sarrat in Hertfordshire (M25 J19) is probably closest to you - Aryliam Motorsport is a long time Caterham specialist based there and can do anything on your 7 from change a hose clip to full race support to engine swaps.

01923 269306 or 07836 638769 ask for Clive Denham.
WD3 6HH is the postcode if you want to search on multimap.

Is Arilium certified for maintenance? I seem to recall him telling me he was not, but that may have changed.

We have always had our servicing at RatRace in Barnet, just off the M25. Mark the owner is a great guy, and always
has a pot of coffee on offer. they're on 0208 216 5567 and our 3,000 and 6,000 were done on the day, we went to
the shops and came back and Mark's team was done.

We have also had them prepare our car for various Targa-Liege, Tour7, and of course USA2005 and been a very satisfied customer.
J21 on the M25, a short blat down the A1081 and you're there!
