My lad keeps pestering me for a model of a CATERHAM.
Does anyone know where I can get one?

Kit or built?

Modelzone or Antics often have 1/18 or 1/43 scale built model Caterhams.

Tamiya do a 1/20 Lotus 7 Series 2 and they also do a 1/12 scale HPC and JPE - which is much sought after and difficult to find sometimes.

The Scalextric 1/32 Caterhams are still around but beginning to become difficult to find.

Hornby do a basic 1/32 kit for about £5.

Is the Hornby kit out now?

It's actually the body shell of the Scalextric model "sans" motor and wiring.

Eric,
I got one as a 'joke' present for an owner from my local model shop about a year ago. Didn't get a chance to open it first, but thought it did look a little 'basic' on his shelf. They do a small selection of cars, but wasn't paying much attention to the others.
I'll have a peek for you next time I'm in town.

I bought the GT40 a while ago and I noticed the picture of the Seven on the side of the box. I just never saw an actual kit.

360boy,
There's plenty of 1/43 models available, if it's die-cast you're after. Tamiya do a 1/24 Lotus 7 Series 2.
Eric,
My local model shop has the Hornby 1/32 "Gulf" Caterham Se7en at £6.50. It looks a little basic from the box art, but has a (photo-etch?) "7" grille. Hard to tell the quality as it was all shrink-wrapped, but the windscreen surround, for example, looks a bit bulky. Blatmail me if you're interested.
