Raceco exhaust convert
Discussion
Having had noise issues at a couple of tracks I've put a Raceco exhaust on my R400.
What a differance!! Fantastic, so much nicer to drive and be in. Also about 2/3 the weight of the standard Caterham job.
If you have a Caterham with throttle boddies and are having difficulties at tracks with noise or if you are just fed up with the aural assault and comming home with ringing ears, I heartily reccomend a Raceco silencer.

I had the same issue and in the end bit the bullett and bought the expensive but rather nice Caterham carbon airbox kit and it's made a huge differance too.
If you're on roller barrel throttles the Reverie / Caterham airbox is the only option.
If you're on carbs or other throttle boddies you can use a Bernard Scouse or similar.

Agreed - fantastic exhaust, and some power too! I thought I'd miss the noise, but I definitely don't. Sounds great, just not so loud. Main issue is now the throttle bodies - project for next year...
