Where would you find a 7 chassis and what's it worth

A bare de-dion chassis with not a thing on it.What do you guys thing one is worth ?

Difficult to call without knowing more. Would this chassis be an unused one that's never been registered? Or one that's been used and comes with a V5? Or an ex race chassis that might have been intimate with a tyre wall?

around 3500+vat new (without the starter kit) but i think im right in saying that thats only if youve damaged the one you have, you cannot just buy a caterham chassis off the cuff, they wont sell you one.
