Any thoughts on which is the better road/trackday tyre for a Caterham Blackbird? Yokohama 48R or 32R? Not too interested in marginal wet weather ability as I have no screen, and a set of wets for the track. Wheel size is 14"

Since nobody more knowledgeable has chipped in, I'd say the light weight of your car and your primary concern with dry performance would lead to the 32, soft or supersoft depending on how you value grip vs. longevity. The 48 soft is supposed to be as good as 32 supersoft, but I don't know if it's been proven in the field yet.

The 32R's are not avaialble any more . If yu do find some they are probably quite old by now .

48R's : soft front and medium compound rear will do you well

Here's the official word from Yokohama

"We do still produce the A032R in some sizes, however some have been
discontinued and been replaced by the A048R

The following sizes we will continue to produce are as follows:-

165/70R10
215/50R13
205/55R15
225/60R15
205/50R16"

Hence a degree of confusion out there.
Thanks for thoughts, am going 48 route

Remember there are different compounds on the 48! Worth checking you get the one you want!

As I understand it the Medium compound actually has a good wear rate.
