Which is the best book for Caterham fans? I would like a book to read about the history of the 7, which tell me about all the models, and with the best photos and illustrations.

My favourite are the Chris Rees books, The Magnificent 7 and From Conception to CSR. Both on eBay.

Lotus Seven, Restoration, Preperation, Maintenance. Tony Weale.
Caterham Sevens, From conception to CSR. Chris Rees.
Caterham Sevens, The official Story of a unique British sportscar. Chris Rees.
The Magnificent 7, Chris Rees.
Lotus and Caterham Seven, Racers for the road. John Tipler.

That should be enough smallest room reading for a while wink

Interesting about the books. How modern does any of them cover to?

There's also the Coulter book which is ok.

I have a ‘Brooklands Books’ book about the 7. Excellent if you want the history of the car; it covers series 1 through 4 and the Twin Cam caterham, with performance figures for each model. Even the very rare S2 Cosworth Super Seven model.
I’ve had this book 40+ years, so maybe it’s out of print now.

Think I’ve got most, if not all of them.

Shame I don’t still have the car.

Simple there's only 2 books + a haynes workshop manual which features the particular engine fitted to your car [been so many different engines fitted over the years] you need buy.
Loadsa authors have jumped on the 7 wagon - none of these later books are as good as the 2 originals pictured.
