wheres the cautionary caterham tale thread??
Discussion
No it seems to have been pulled by the moderators. Although if it has been pulled by CC's lawyers I'd be interested to know.
Having read the posting rules, I suspect more likely is that I have contravened these and apologise if this was the case.
Nevertheless, the same thread is still rolling on blatchat.

I suspect that was it, you might get an email explaining later. (Come to think of it I have no idea who the mod is for this forum.)
Re your situation, IMO emails are too easy to ignore. I'd be tempted to send a letter by registered post (and give them a specific timescale to collect the car and return your money.)
Hope you get it sorted.
Nothing but excellent service for me too. I have had three Sevens now and all of them have been new and I have had fewer problems with them than I have had with some volume manufactured cars!
Many people are happy with what Caterham do for them but you rarely hear about companies doing their job well.
Always have to remember there are two sides to every story (without wishing to insult anyone). Caterham cannot put their side of the story on a public forum as it could degenerate into a slanging match.
Posting the details of every bit of correspondence with a company on the internet can lead to very difficult ongoing relationships with companies.

It's a (fairly) expensive kit car supplied by a smallish company. In my view they do a great job....at the same time I could never get too excited about some poor paint on a £80 bit of fibreglass. I am impressed though when I can get everything I need next day for the bits I've managed to break
