I've been using Howden's (formally A Plan) and they have always provided a great service.

The other ones to try are Adrian Flux and Footman James. Some offer trackday insurance if that’s also something you want.

Well I've been using Lloyd & Whyte (as Caterham Insurance) for the past few years, they've recently moved their business to Adrian Flux.

I've had a few quotes, Footman James were by far the most expensive, Howdens the cheapest, but I've had a good quote from MSM and I've only heard good things about them, so will likely go with them.

I notice no-one wants to do trackday cover for a reasonable price anymore. Lloyd & Whyte hardly charged anything for 5 trackdays. I guess I'll have to look to insure with Moris whenever I do a trackday. Howdens wanted over £200 for 3 trackdays! They said it'll drop when I hit 40, but it's never been an issue before!

I have been with A-Plan/Howden for the last few years (and have a multi policy with them) but this year they said they could no longer offer trackday insurance (previously had up to 5 trackdays included).

Prior to that I was with REIS, who also did inclusive trackday insurance policies.

Which insurers still offer trackday insurance inclusive policies at at reasonable cost?

Classicline included 6 (non-caterham club) trackdays, unlimited club trackdays and additional trackdays at a low cost.

Trackday excess 10pc.

Not racing but Adrian Flux have been brilliant after my CSR had a suspension failure which appeares to be a common feature for CSRs

Went back to Arch, full respray in Renault liquid yellow, about 20k woth of work on chassis and new panels. Took a while but would recommend on my experience.

As above also with Classicline, do require 48 advance notice for trackday cover

Just had my renewal quote from REIS who I have been with for many years. 33% increase on the premium .... apparently as they are now "charging for track day cover" from the underwriters. They are also no longer offering track day cover for new customers.

Last year premium was 300, this year 400 (on a 2008 R400 with no claims ever from Caterham perspective .... and been driving them 25 years....and this car for 15 years)

Classic Line slightly more expensive and ~£94 per track (non Caterham ones). Seems having our toys is getting more expensive !

Yeah the trackday cover I've taken for granted for years has vanished.

I've been with Lloyd and White, but since they switched to Flux I moved to MSM this year. Very friendly and a good price, but no trackday cover unfortunately.
