Have a look in the classfields, there's definately some cars within your budget:

(Although I've just spotted this is an SV)

You'd be looking closer to 40k for a newer 420R, but I suspect you'd be able to find other 360R's within your budget (though they do lack a few of the bits from the 400/420, such as the dry sump).

Try and have a look at an F175/225 SV, I think they are nicer than the D engined cars.

Leave a chunk for personalisation, ie flat floor, half hood, aero etc. Someone elses perfect 7 wont be yours.

I am selling my SV. It's going to be on the market with two engines....one a full race PTP Evo 220 with very high spec, great for track use and can be used on the road but doesn't much like traffic....

Spare engine is the original Caterham K1600 120bhp....the Evo pulled 213bhp on Emerald's dyno in 2017 but they had to back off as it was running weak above 6800rpm as I'd forgotten I still had the original 120bhp fuel pump on it.....they reckoned it'd go to over the OE rated 220bhp, as the head has been very much improved by Roger Fabry now of Sabre Heads....who actually did the head work when it was originally built by Janspeed for PTP..
It now has an R500 pump.

It's done 30k ish mileage since new in 2002.

I really can't use it any more due to substantial injuries from a bike smash in 2019....I have bilateral shoulder tendon damage....

Colour is pearl white and the red bands are painted under the clear-coat.

I'll be advertising it on PH soon.....it's currently living in France and is on a French plate.
