Today in Perth was the perfect day to have the first drive of the year but the golf course won with a pre-planned tee off at mid- morning. Now the weather looks like it’s turning colder with the possibility that Grit McGritter is going to be back out chucking salt on the roads. Hopefully the forecast is pessimistic and I’ll get the car out soon. Beginning to get desperate to give the car a good shakedown after 6 months sat in the warm garage.

Anybody else out today? Two hours around Desford, Kirkby Mallory etc in Warwickshire for me.
Only my third outing since purchase. Still learning limits (mine!)
Right what they say about track days. I have to seriously get a couple lined up!

Also regarding track days Mallory park in Kirby Mallory is a good track in a caterham, donington is great too but a bigger/ quicker track. Depending on where you are based Bedford is top pick for first track day, wide, long track where you don’t need to worry so much about other traffic (which can be very distracting when you first start out) and big run off areas.

The only drawback with Bedford imo is that is is quite hard to learn. No features means that it’s easy to mistake corners. I haven’t learnt it after a whole day there. Gassing Station | Caterham | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
