I am surprised that a thread hasn't already been started on the Project V announcement, so I am starting one now.
For what it is worth, I think the car looks lovely, as well as bordering on being practical - well, as practical as a low slung three seater sportscar can be.
I hope they have great success with this car and it helps secure the brands future.
What do you all think?

You've lost me here.
What have I missed?
The link you have provided is to yesterdays front page article on Pistonheads, which prompted this thread.
I stand by my statement that I think it looks lovely, and I wish them every success with this venture. I thought it was a shame that the partnership with Alpine dissolved, but it looks like they have carried on their own way and come up with something really nice.
What I am heartened to see is that Caterham are looking beyond the basic Seven shape, something they really need to do as the EV age rapidly approaches. The Seven shape has done well for them for the last 50 years since they bought the rights, but I doubt it would see them through the next 50 years.
Just my thoughts.

I think he means there's 13 pages worth of discussion about it if you scroll down:

This part of the forum is a bit dead to be honest.
For what it's worth, I really like it. It's not a 7 replacement (and it's not meant to be). But I'd happily use something like this as a daily, if I did in fact want to spend that much on a daily.....
