I really enjoyed this.

It's nearly 40 years since I last considered a Caterham but seeing this seems to have brought a new relevance to the marque for me.

That 3 cylinder engine sounds like it should be awful but it sounds great in that thing.

The detail of the rest of the package looks so good.

I like the concept but ultimately I think I’d quickly tire of all those turbo noises (in a similar way to the Aerial Atom 4 turbo “theatrics” ), but we’re all different :-).

I think you may be right.

YouTube is now bombarding me with Caterham videos - this one is still in my opinion the best.

Sadly, I've also been exposed to what must be the worst.

I'll include it here for the sake of completeness but you have been warned - it is dire to the extreme.

This has to be one of my all time Caterham Youtube favourites , if only for the smile of Mr Catchpole at the end https://youtu.be/iXVYFmnJmno

What's surprised me is all the seemingly (to me) random people Caterham loan cars to.

Turn up with a YouTube t-shirt, and an account with 100 followers, and say 'Giss us a 620 for the week bruv' biggrin.

The bar for journalism has never been so low biggrin.

I think Henry Catchpole is one of the best current motoring journalists.

The video above wasn’t TOO bad, for someone who is evidently a non-enthusiast & it’s interesting sometimes to hear a different perspective. I did find this line amusing though - “It corners lovely, which was quite a surprise!”. What does she think the point of a Caterham is? Just to look cute & ‘retro’?

From his review of the 310R: "You do need to change down the gears as the brakes aren't actually that good... you need to do quite a bit of engine braking to get it to stop" rofl
