Never liked the look of the horrible plastic inlet After some research realised I could fit the Puma cast inlet. So managed to find one. But of modification to throttle body inlet. Going up 2mm on throttle body as well. When I took rocker cover off realised it had Piper 150Hp Caterham cams in it.

Nice discovery. Curious to hear how it works when running.

What ID were the cams, out of interest? Any identifying numbers?

Getting 58mm Billet throttle body tomorrow so making progress.
Cams had Cat 150hp stamped on the end. When I contacted piper about them He wouldn't give me any information about them as they were made under license for Caterham. Caterham gave me lift and timings.

Interesting. Guessing if you have the lift and timings you can compare with Piper's own profiles to see which one is the closest match?

Hi Thanks for the interest. Car is all back together and running. Had to alter coolant hose to other side of engine. Also had to change TPS for anti clockwise one. So just need to get it mapped now. But seems to drive okay. Plugs and exhaust look a reasonable colour. Bottom end pull seems better

Nice work, that's a tidy install!
Did you have the 140 spec originally? I have the 150 so already have the cams but ITBs so it would be great to see the figures after mapping and how it compares, although I do still have the std mapping.

Thanks very much. To be honest Im not fully sure on the spec as it didn't come with much history. When i took the rocker cover off it had 150 stamped on the end of the cams. Apparently piper cams made under license for Caterham. Mapping is the next job
