Lol, I hate not having a Caterham..cant seem to buy one as easy as last time round

The SL on ebay has been written off (tree fell on it) but total rebuild - chassis etc. Trouble is that at £12,500 to my mind it isn't far enough in front of a slightly tatty, but clean historied SL, which could well make it tricky to sell on at a later stage.

yes seen that one, its a cat c write off as you say......think its £10K flat out myself.....most people would rather spend a bit more and buy a "proper" car..........I am sure that its a good car and if I was going to keep it forever it wouldnt bother me, (if it had been rebuilt correctly) but I think there is a non write off out there for £13K some where

Yes, I agree with that - I'm thinking about building up a car - I know where there are some decent bits, just looking for a reasonably priced de dion chassis...at £10k I'd buy the ebay SL - it has all the right bits
