Red Colours - Cars at the Gatwick Open Day

Hi All...hope you're all well

So I went to the Gatwick open day last weekend to have a good look and meet some like minded people. Very good indeed...so many cars and so many options to see in the flesh!

However, my favourite one was this one in the image...



Is this the volcano red colour? It looks nothing like this on the configurator, but that's often the case...

Yep that's Volcano red. And that looks like Robert Beke from Caterham Silverstone.

That's a 360R, I test drove that car a few weeks ago. The colour looks stunning in the sun. Made me almost reconsider my order in Gulf colours.

Indeed...in fact I have just changed my spec from Viper Blue to Volcano Red...it just looked amazing!

Did you enjoy the test drive on the 360R? I've only been able to drive a 420S because that was the demo at Krazy Horse...

Yep loved the test drive. Felt it needed a bit more go in a straight line maybe I have put down a deposit and and secured a November build slot. Still debating if the 4k extra for the 420 will be worth it.

Did the 420s you tried have a LSD?

Actually I didn't ask...and wasn't being hairy enough on the test drive to find out! In my first meeting with KH, I did ask him if he preferred the LSD equipped cars, and he said he'd never driven one without it, so I guess that answers the question!

Re extra for the 420, my thinking was that I can upgrade the 360 to 420 power after the fact, and for not much more then the difference in price for the new one. So I decided to go 360, get to the point where I'm wanting more power and then do the upgrade. It's another project after all
