Rear Anti roll bar
Discussion
Hi
What is the correct angle tothe horizontal to adjust the arms of the rear roll bar on an imperial s3 with the roll located at the bottom part of the chassis?
Does it matter if it is horizontal or swung at an angle towards the road when the car is resting on its suspension ?
Thank you

Ideally you want the drop links to be at 90 degrees to the bar, and the bar as horizontal as possible. But that's difficult, if not impossible to do. All you can do is to adjust the link rod lengths to give the best compromise and the required clearance. At the end of the day it is simply transferring some load from one side to the other and the amount is what matters rather than how a technically good the geometry is.
