Caterham Live Axle Prop Shaft Length
Discussion
So i've got a 1990 Live Axle which was originally a four speed and was converted to a 5 speed.
i've had some gearbox issues and the gearbox is currently away for repair and i'm advised it's a strange type 9 as it's shorter than normal so it may not be a quick repair so i'm considering the option of going for a new gearbox.
but i'm not sure if the prop shaft was kept as a 4 speed version with a short tail gearbox or was actually changed to a 5 speed prop shaft.
I'm trying to double check the length of my current prop, would anyone know either the length of a live axle 5 speed propshaft or the live axle 4 speed propshaft. I'm thinking that the critical measurement is from the flange to the start of the parallel which goes into the gearbox.
