1990 4 speed gear linkage
Discussion
Hi
The gear lever on my 1990 ford gearbox seems to have lost its location. It moves up from its original position and I no longer need to push down to engage reverse.
I have removed the aluminium transmission tunnel and the gear lever pulled out with no resistance. There is part of a metal fork-looking thing on the bottom of the gear lever but it does not locate in anything.
I have not been able to find any bits below the gear lever.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Is this the bit you need? https://www.retroford.co.uk/product/plastic-gearbo...
I went for this one from Burton Power for mine.
