Help on Caterham steering parts
Discussion
Hello all,
Been browsing around where for a while and just decided to register.
I am based in Portugal and just bought a Caterham 275 SV from 2017 that had a small acident.
i need the axial joint ( not sure if this is the right name in english....) which is basically the part that is between the steering rack and the rod end.
aparently Caterham doesn't have it in stock right now and i would like to know if this patrt is shared with another car brand so that i can buy it from somebody else our if there is an alterantive supplier in UK ( this is more dificult for us in Portugal as the customs are taking ages to release the products).
i will make a presentation after i have it running!!
Thank you for your help!

I think the term is Track Rod.
From what I have picked up the racks are made for Caterham Cars by Titan and neither will sell you internal components to repair the rack. It might be that you have to buy a compete new rack.
That said it has need suggested that the rack shares many components with the Elise rack, also made by Titan though I don’t know if the track rods, for either the SV or standard chassis, are the same as the Elise.
