ok ,just landed my 2005 1.8 K series and want to upgrade bits.Exhaust system first and was thinking a 4-2-1 would be nice or a 4-1 .new ones seem expensive ,any ideas or know of anyone with one for sale

I’ve had my K-Series Caterham for nearly 4 years now, and I don’t think I’ve seen any 4-2-1 or other upgrade exhaust systems hit the second hand market.

Most of the major players don’t offer off-the-shelf K-Series systems now, so you have to go bespoke. Those that do, don’t seem to want to part with them.

knowing my luck i'll get one new and then one will turn up secondhand at a fraction of the cost..same thing happened to me with the FIA roll bar
