Hello,

On my seven, I have single adjustable AVO dampers (APA120/085 at the front and PB148 at the rear). The settings are those when I bought the car (5 clicks at the front and 7 at the rear) but I find that the shocks are very stiff and the car very uncomfortable for road use.
Can someone who has AVO dampers can give me their settings for road use please ?

Thanks

Maybe just try tweaking a couple of steps each time, ideally on a track day.

Ive not seen many Avos fitted to Cats.

I had Avos on my Fury though, thought they were pretty good on that tbh.

However, whenever I see a group of 7's, I find myself checking what suspenders they use.

And in my small straw survey, the highest %age are using stock Billies....then Nitrons...then a few much smaller numbers running exquisitively pretty and expensive exotica.....

YMMV may vary, obvs......

They were quite fashionable about 10 years ago and the limited experience I had on a friend car at that time was all good. I can't recall the settings, but if you find it a bit too stiff I would suggest you take it to all to fully soft and add clicks to the rear until the balance is as you like it, then add to front (and rear) until the ride is also as you like it. In essence, use the rear to get the balance, and front to achieve turn-in/ride you like. Of course the shock are only one element to the handling so the adjustments may be only part of the solution.

I'd start by going fully both ways - soft and hard to see what range of adjustment you have. Mt experience with AVOs on a 7 wasn't all that good and that adjustment didn't really make a whole lot of difference.

If it doesn't then you know you've got to do more than adjust the dampers!
