Hi, I am in the market for a SLR / or K-series R400 and saw this advertised at GP SEVENS https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/12122771
Whilst not a real R400 it is the right spec albeit without carbon wings & nose cone. Before I make contact with them, I want to do my research and was wondering whether the owner is on here or if anyone knows this car?

Looks great but don't think those engines are as reliable as duartecs.

Agreed, but the K-series suit the 7 very well and if properly maintained is fine; hence my inquiry to discover the history of this car. I ran an original Superlight (106) for a number of years albeit with a more basic 1.6 K-Series and really liked it.

Thanks that's a good call. Great spec but just doesn't 'grab me'. Ideally, I would like one in a solid colour preferably orange with all four wings in unpainted dull carbon and if I had a choice it would be SLR. I'm in no rush so will bide my time.
