Give us a clue What have you got, and what does the upgrade involve?

It's an upgrade to the standard K series engine to bring it up to 160 bhp IIRC - effectively R300 spec (not sure whether you get roller barrels or not). I've had a ride in a Supersport R and it was quicker than a Superlight but without that bang in the back you get with a Superlight R.

As to whether it's worth it - that depends on what the spec of your car is already and whether you could sell it and buy an R300 for the price of the Supersport R upgrade....

Aha. £2300 seems a lot for 20 bhp, do you get an LSD and dry sump too?

Nope, but could a chunk of that cost be for roller barrels perhaps???

Nice spec car - don't forget the DVA Power option too - Paul Marriott's cost him circa £2k and he told me in Switzerland that the car is now developing 190bhp - all this on a standard engine. If you want to know more, mail Paul thru Blatchat and join the club to post on the forum

Oh dear, I see where upgradeitis will take me next year

(Re roller barrels - I have no idea, I've deliberately not looked into upgrades as I have enough on my plate at the moment)
