Hi. I've just acquired a set of MB's, ( a la R500 ).

My car currently has Apollo rims which I think use cone/lug nuts therefore I'll need to buy new sleeve nuts. Can anyone advise correct sleeve nut/source that is high quality/durable finish, ( inc washer )?
Also any tips on cleaning/polishing in the little ovals around the edge of the rim.. ??

Thanks,

Ed

Hi,

Nice wheels - I've got a set and still think they are the best looking wheel on a 7. I got my wheel nuts from Rally Design - part number SN23.

See here

As for cleaning in the slots - I tend to strip the wheel down - the design allows you to split the centre out of the wheel without having to split the rims apart - just remove all the air you can and undo the bolts and the centre will knock out with a couple of gentle taps. Once the Ali is clean they are easier to keep clean with just normal washing - maybe an occasional whizz around with some cotton buds to get the brake dust out.
