If so - you chose a poor time to play!

Since doing the PH Slalom day I have fallen in love with Caterhams but I must admit that seeing one on the A12 at rush hour it seemed a very vulnerable place to be!

Maybe one for the weekend when the balance allows but I''m not sure I could use it as an every day car!

A12 is pretty tame really... (maybe I'm just used to it!).. although there are plenty of roads you can use as an alternative and some cracking lanes if you know where to look.

Hadn't realised you'd started at Central Office... I'll drop you a line tomorrow.

Getting around to my second month now already! Really loving it although it's a lot more involving than my old Beeb job.

I haven't found the time to find the smaller roads downs from Colchester yet but I intend on having a look next weekend.

Have you got any recommendations?

Cheers

Phil, depends where you want to get to - A120 is dualled beyond Freeport, Braintree and runs you straight onto the M11 or you can cut through the back of Chelmsford and down the A414 to junction 7 of the M11.

I bought my first Caterham from Farnham and drove it back round teh M25 at Rush Hour - it wasn't until I came alongside a VW Golf and realised that I was at wheel height to that that I realised just how low to the ground I was! Not a car to commute down a busy trunk road perhaps, but you do get used to it.
