Supersprint Distributor connections

Hi, can somebody help with where the wires go to from the electronic distributor that came fitted to my 1700 Supersprint that I take as fitted by the factory. There is a three wire multiplug coming off the distributor but I am using this engine in a TVR Vixen, not a Caterham, so have nothing to mate the plug to. What would the three cables have been originally connected to in the Caterham please? TIA

Thank you for that. Any details on the specification of the amplifier please?
Does that mean this distributor will not work without being routed through this amplifier and where do any cables connect to after the amplifier? The three cables from my distributor are in a multiplug and are red, blue and black.

I have one from 1984, but I don't know its pedigree or its serviceability as the car's not been started or moved since 1987, the engine is away for a rebuild, so I'm having a lumenition installed as it's replacement, perhaps it's a route you could follow too?.

Does that mean you can identify what the three cable colours are coming off my distributor and how they will connect to the Lumenition unit and which Lumenition amplifier are you going to use please?

You buy a complete Lumenition Optronic kit and associated distributor fitting kit, it includes the necessary loom. I'd have a chat with stockists such as Demon Tweeks or Merlin Motorsport, you'll just need to know the distributor manufacturer, so you get the correct fitting kit.
