SUMMERTIME

Spent the last week getting the car ready for the summer and took it out for a short drive today. Lots of flashes, thumbs up and waves on the road, plus compliments and conversations when I parked up at the local offie. Who'd have thought a 7 could have such a positive impact in a pandemic?

I wish my Caterham was noticed more.
In the few drives out post “lockdown” I keep coming across blind people who pull out seemingly oblivious to a bright Orange car with headlamps on coming in their direction!
I’m the one doing the waving with my fist.

Used to get quite a lot of attention in the 90s in my old 7 but now in the last 3 years of ownership of my 420r it's noticeably changed and it's not only in the UK, France is the same too, only not as bad.

Perhaps people don't like to talk to strangers any more??

Lots of happy smiles and waves from people as I drove my Seven out and about on Saturday. They are a good force of positivity.

Took mine out round the Cotswolds for 3 hours yesterday, the amount of looks, waves, thumbs up and smiles received was amazing! The only person who was a bit grumpy about seeing it was a 320d driver mid overtake

I’m pretty sure the only thing that’s ever overtaken me in the Caterham is another Caterham!
