ok so at 5'11" 14.5 stone i fancy an s3 caterham, not into the SV.My questions is if the car is tight I know i can move the pedals forward.if its still tight would changing from S seats to race/grp seats help with space. In know a lowered floor also helps but didnt fancy that mod
If you're long in the torso the lowered floor might feel more natural.5'11 with standard floor and standard seats:

If you're on track you want to have your head much lower than the image shows compared to the roll bar - else the roll bar is basically useless. Lowered floors for track use is a much IMHO unless you're an imp.
Agreed. I bought a naked seat base from Oxted trimmers so I'm now sitting on the floor and about an inch lower than in the photo. Lowered floor(s) would be a must-have for me for a future 7.braddo said:

The track day roll bar is slightly higher than the standard one, so might lessen the need for lowered floors if you aren't too long in the body. Depending on wheels sizes ground clearance can be a bit marginal with lowered floors. bcr5784 said:

The roll bar on my car in the photo is higher than the standard one. I think there is another roll bar that is higher again though.
