Leaving low value items in a Caterham
Discussion
Ok, I'm planning a European road trip (probably for 2022) and inevitably I will have to leave the car parked whilst I explore various cities.
I travel very light and can fit all of my belongings onto a small rucksack and take them with me.
... But to keep costs down I'll be camping when possible, so will need to pack a one man tent, a sleeping bag and a pillow. These would be difficult (but not impossible) to take with me.
If I left the tent, sleeping bag and pillow in the Caterham, I'm guessing they would be stollen, despite being low value items?
Has anyone got any ideas for storing items like this on a Caterham?
Locking boot cover?
Hiding them in the foot well?
Any other nooks and crannies people hide stuff?
... Anybody have any good ideas, or should I just carry all my stuff with me?
Cheers
Dave

I would say it not's really a problem as in 20 years of touring and leaving the car parked up the only thing nicked was Caterham branded valve caps. valuables go with me and as I'm aero'd I always put the tonneau cover on. But if you're really worried then consider a Pacsafe (strong stainless steel 'net' that can be locked to the rollover bar in the boot.
Not cheap but worth it if it buys you peace of mind.
